Pretty much that. AI is just a tool. It's the thing that made the art, not the person putting in prompts and messing with sliders. I do find it funny its defenders try to make it sound like it's anything other than a sort of toy and one of them using this guy's victory at some competition at proof still won't sway me from the fact that a lot of AI generated images are just going to end up as slop until the generator makes something that looks decent.
