This is actually a very intelligent comment. Things like that will happen and it is what makes the board fear for their jobs. The whole scenario presented here imagines a system that exists outside of the system. But everybody is part of the system. A car manufacturer wants to sell cars. The economy won't keep growing if there is nobody left they can sell to. AI is very very bad at creating demand for everyday products. AI doesn't eat, AI doesn't need houses, AI doesn't need cars and it doesn't need cellphones. Our economy does not exist outside of the economy.
