@aleksipekkala By every technical definition it is art. The definition of art is very broad and loose, I believe it should be redefined to exclude full-generate AI but whether we hate ai art or not it still is art by the very meaning of the word.
Art is about expression and a viewers interpretation (a mouldy banana can be considered art). Design is about actual intent, craftsmanship is about the skill and trade, art is not.
Those robotic arms that paint strokes of randomness in museums are considered art pieces. A random blurry photo taken by a blind chimp can even be art. Art doesn’t care for quality, prestige or originality. Slop is slop but still technically art.
