This is that. This is showing that AI is currently sufficiently advanced to actively manipulate people.
The scary part is, it becomes a tool malicious actors can use to engage with and convince susceptible targets with significantly more effectiveness than existing methods at significantly reduced costs and effort.
Imagine an AI powered scammer... or state level propaganda campaign...
