It really doesn't matter, they need to be fine-tuned and, at least in software, each time that someone chats with, say Claude, they are generating curated training data that help Claude to mimic the thought process of a software engineer and more importantly, each time you accept or reject the code, the proposals, and the like produced by an LLM, you are also providing curated training data because you are providing a learning signal that something is correct or not. These coding tools are getting better and better thanks to the developers using them. "Use AI but don't worry, you are not going to be replaced!" they said, but with each interaction you are replacing yourself. Truly a race to the bottom.
