@TheSpicyLeg Dude, I'm pretty sure people could already get their art in "scummy" ways that artists didn't like loooong before AI. You seriously think art already wasn't a cheapstake thing to get before the 2020's? If that was the case, artists would have a better life by now until this point. Art was never a "reliable" industry if you can even call it an "industry" in the sense of getting people employed. The reality of the matter is that most of this is just artists panicking irrationally because of how emotionally attatched they are to what they do. And this kind of reaction is only really prevalent in the Anglosphere. The rest of the world is mostly okay-ish with AI by comparison. Probably because corporations there aren't trying to push AI as hard, but still a point to consider.
I think the *cultural* issues with AI are more prevalent than the jobs one. The jobs are just an excuse artists try to sell in order to gather sympathy.
