ChatGPT doesn't have access to copyrighted material, so it will often confuse entire book plots, film, songs. It will create an entire plot, and it won't be the film or a book or story that you think it is. Even when a book is actually within the public domain, ChatGPT often will not know unless the user points it out.
Even when I gave it access to my do summaries or extractions of my own writing, the extraction included a complete text of something I never wrote. It also included mixed up summaries of a conversation with it, so that it confused who had said what.
If you are a student (high school, university, etc.), and you are using it to help you with an assigned book for example, do not assume or trust that it "knows" anything about it.
Also, do not accept its insight on the book. It will change depending on the day and the context of the conversation.
