@DaisytStar Art and AI may be 2 different things, but once AI will become more advanced companies will start to use them ,replacing illustrators. There’s no doubt about this. Companies give shit about artist feelings and rights if they can make more money with AI. I understand your point but it’s not valid and realistic. Do you see how the world is evolving? Again, I’m a digital and traditional illustrator, but I’m not blind. The reality we’re facing now it’s just the beginning of the downfall for every illustrators in this damn world. This AI invention is not like the photography invention: photos capture reality and they are limited to it. AI can generate images and use any style discovered in digital and traditional art. Artist back then changed their styles because of photography, but now AI took what was considered to be one of the things who separate us from machines, our Art. So what can illustrators do now? Create a new art style? When AI can literally generate any artstyle , even artstyles we didn’t even imagine yet? In addition to that, the only way you can prevent AI to steal your art style is to not post any of your works on the internet. But how do you become successful as an artist then, when visibility means a lot? If someone can make me change my point, I’m all hears. As an artist myself I want to believe we still have a chance in this world and that we can still work as illustrators and such.
