9/10 times it's just TOO perfect. The sentence structure is very consistent, adjectives are appropriate. Humanization software is, at least when I've been 100% certain it was being used, just acting like a thesaurus. For example, in a chemistry class I taught I caught somebody using AI because they wrote "very little layer chromatography" instead of "thin layer chromatography". No human would ever make that mistake.
