@SeralthSparro You missed the point. If you present a very well written essay to me, and later on i learn it was written by chat gpt, it immediately stops being impressive. The choice of words didn't come from you, the manner in which the points in the essay are presented didn't come from you, the absence of mistakes, the command of English, and the writing style are not products of your intellect. All you had was an idea, and that's not enough to claim credit for the essay. It also doesn't impress me because a computer did it; I expect a computer to assimilate info in seconds, never forget that info, and never make mistakes when applying that info. The same thing applies to AI art. There's no bias here, there is simply nothing to be impressed by. If the information chat gpt needs to write high quality essays was provided by you entirely, the essay might be impressive, because chat gpt would be writing essays based on your knowledge and the credit for the essay would rightfully go to you.
