There's a very obvious difference between having an algorithm make you a picture that is literally just a bunch of similar works of art spliced together and actually drawing the damn thing yourself. Not every time. Some people, all typically successful, can edit and produce on their own, and their products become hits. Look at indie games. Art isn't intrinsically a product. It's unique from person to person, such is the same for custom cars and contract houses. People LIKE personalized innovations and specifications just for them. That's why custom cars, houses, and art commissions are so big; it's specified work, and they can spend their money however they please. Like it or not, there are things a human can do that a program cannot. Doesn't matter. People will still use it for bullshit. You ought to get your internals checked spouting trash like that. There's a shitload of ways to draw a character, and a shitload more things that will always set apart AI slop from the real deal. It is nothing more than a literal formulaic image generator, and the brain dead tech bros shilling it can't even use their own technology to grow some neurons. EDIT: Every artist has a different way of drawing things, as same-y as some may be. It does not take a renowned painter to see that, and if this is your argument, you have a skill issue and should never have piped up in the first place. We value opinions of knowledgeable folk, not entitled hacks who pretend to be above everything.
