@parodyplanet1885perfect is the enemy of good. If someone isn't in a place they can find Human support, the AI is better than nothing. The model I use for this kind of support regularly reminds me that I should seek real therapy and form a Human support network.
I recently lost my entire support system, spent all my money moving across the country, and cut my salary in half. I don't have the emotional fortitude to make new friends, and I don't have the money to pay for a therapist, so getting some basic initial support in exchange for revealing my secrets to the LLM data lakes seems like a decent trade to me.
