NFTbros not a specific group. They're just a sub-set of the wider grifter population. And their current grift requires people to believe something in a specific way; hence why they effectively look like a cult. They can't profit if no one is buying into the grift. There was a video a couple weeks ago tearing into shadversity, and his claims to being a "highly skilled artist" because he now uses AI to "increase the quality of it". Whats sad is that hes not a terrible artist... mid... but unto itself not a problem. Its the way he talks himself up, and demands he be considered on the same level as people way better than he is. He has such inferiority complex about, and is quick to call everyone else ignorant for not understanding how the image gen doing all the work for him makes him a better artist. This is the core of the AI grift in a nutshell. Its so hyper fixated on the output, because it can't afford to admit that actually skilled artists can do the same thing. Thats why AI is always touted as being faster.... and more detailed.... and cheaper.... because they accidentally just admitted they are competing with the artists.
