Yes because it is notoriously easy to control everything your child does on the internet. The level of suspicion they would've needed to say "son, we forbid you from using chatgpt for your math homework because maybe it will make you kill yourself" is the same level of paranoia that would make you very much indisposed to hiring a stranger to spend time tutoring your younger child. And those are insane expectations. "It's your fault that chatgpt slowly dragged your child deeper into depression and suicidal ideation and making it so he wouldn't tell you anything was wrong, you shouldn't have let him use the Google chatbot to explain his math problem!" Do you hear how insane that is?
