exactly. ai can't make "art." "pretty picture" isn't art. art is the attempt to communicate something about your subjective experience. the ai doesn't have a subjective experience, so it can't make "art." also, if it's training off of human art, and the internet is increasingly filled with... not that, how will it continue to improve? at some point it can only train from other ai because that's all that's available. it can't have it's own ideas about interesting new art. it can't create.
