@LisaJoanne1 I wasn't being optimistic, it's just that people forget predicting doom sells. People have predated on that since antiquity. The timeframe he presents I think it's far too optimistic, nothing we have seen comes even close to anything else than predictive text algorithm and copycats of visual patterns. We're not even close to actual, real, artificial conscience or intelligence. Here is my prediction, by 2030 it's biggest effects will be the complete or partial disqualification of recorded evidence on courts, maybe a return to film ironically for security tapes. Lots of memes. And lots of automations for repetitive tasks.
I don't think the world will be that different by 2030 due to AI. By 2050, who the f~.. knows, I'm not a prophet.
