1) The question remains. Why would a true God let confusion or ANY lack of clarity occur in a topic like this? Most muslims today believe Aisha was 6-9 when married/marriage consummation and it's led to little girls suffering in many muslim countries. Isn't this a very risky topic for Allah to allow confusion on?
2) Excuses. Fact is, muslim countries were the most resistant and the last to actually stop slavery. Looks like the Christian God and books are more effective to get followers to reform.
3) Interesting how you say sudden abolition of a horrible practice like slavery would cause social collapse, so you preferred gradual reform. And yet, sudden abolition of idol worship (related to faith, which is much stronger) was fine. Today, if a group of atheists come and burn your books and break all your mosques, you'd immediately reform? 😂
