First, the “stuck in Waymo” section is dumb asl because he should’ve gotten out of the Waymo and went into his friend’s house, why the hell would he hangout in the Waymo to order a new one? It’s like ordering an Uber to a spot and then forcing the driver to wait for you as you order a second ride. Plus you can add stops, so he should’ve added his friend’s house as a stop.
And the safety claims were misrepresented. The expert in the video stated that there are more human-related fatalities because people drive more; but the reality is that when you make a per-mile comparison automated systems still win by a clear margin. And a Waymo driving over a cat that was under the car as it pulled off is not only something a person would do, but it’s something people do quite often
