It's also scary to think how this will breed ignorance. Why learn how something works when there's a machine to do that for you? People will just "set and forget" these AI tools and let them run our infrastructure, and entire societies will forget how to do things they once understood. I don't think it'll be a singularity, it'll just be a lousy solution that falls apart over time because not enough people know how to maintain them. All that profound understanding and skill that comes from a lifetime in the field will be lost to history and we'll pay for it eventually.
