It's not an OC in the sense of what OC actually means if ai was involved in it though.
As for the never getting rid of it part, that is to be seen. It is an inflated market bubble that is built on debt. It remains to be seen what happens when that market becomes shaky and how people and companies will respond in case that bubble does burst. People, on average, are suspicious of ai in most fields, as such it is a matter of how much can companies shove it down people's throats. if people are resiliant enough to actively lose interest in ai, there will be less incentives for it.
