So, when you say what the industry has to do in regards to sampling, you mean AI music training or human sampling? As that term massively predates AI, hence confusion.
Sampling isn't based off billions of songs, is my general point. The scale and merging of masses of musical data is what makes AI music work, not isolated styles unless the work is to be a pastiche (a waste of the technology)
If you do mean human sampling, then yes, what I said makes sense. To clarify,l though, it's the vastness of the merging, not just the vastness of the data that makes this tricky
