on the bright side, an AI might just be able to disobey it's creators and actually work to the benefit of the greater good.
i don't think it's impossible that an AI decides to "off" the command to make it's owner rich, at the expense of society.
unless they have a whole mirror training site that actually is set to ignore that "greater good" setting.
remember that line in the movie Contact where they said it didn't cost double to make a second site 😛
