Who says the AI is Supposed to be our obedient little slave?? It's possible that we, biological life, are just part of the evolutionary process that ends in hyper intelligent and capable AI. Maybe we're just like a caterpillar creating a cocoon without even realizing it and the butterfly that comes out (sentient AI) is Supposed to be a completely different thing that does it's own thing. It's not supposed to just be humanity's slave. We are flawed and short sighted creatures. If we create highly intelligent sentient AI it's probably Better that it does it's own thing rather than being another tool we delusional and violent monkeys use to our evil ends.
