I think when people say it’s steals stuff they’re talking about the first iteration of how they got the data to train the AI which is the theft part.
However, AI’s are transformative so they take what they learn and use it to create transformative works, which is the same process of how people learn to create art, writing, or any creative style. We all had to look at something that was created before, so we could understand how we can create our own thing—AI’s so the same.
