I think his point his: stop chasing money only. "Some day (hopefully) you'll be my age (if AGI doesn't take over) and you'll get to see life for more than fame and money. You'll see meaning in your children and grandchildren." As a matter of fact, maybe he's really saying, "don't make the same mistake I did.
