So far I have never found any LLM to be particularly useful, which is why I only use them as cute little novelty toys, trying to make them say things they aren't supposed to. And most of the time I use freeware and open source LLMs I can run locally with GPT4all. A robot that mass produces silly dadaist poems. A virtual Anarchist punk girl from the LLM's idea of England who swears a lot and comments on the news headlines. An image recognition model creating scene descriptions from image files, feeding them into an LLM which remixes them into prompts for Stable Diffusion, Flux, etc, to create images 'inspired' by the input images. The output isn't 'art', but it isn't 'slop' either, it's elektrodada. The entire machine, the entire process is the artwork, the input and output are just sometimes accidentally funny and/or beautiful and/or disturbing. The problem with AI is that it's addictive, and the reason is that AI companies design it to be that way in order to make money. With LLMs on your own machine, at lest you can make your own dope and don't need to go to your dealer.
