@mrpicky1868 He says the quiet part out loud around 1:13:04, that if there was a regulatory regime staffed with union leaders and workers, and GPT 7 or whatever was going to wipe out jobs, they would vote against it. In other words, we can’t let regular people who might be harmed by AI have any say in this, because of course they’d vote to not release the thing that would take away their economic agency and ability to survive.
