@beayn Very true. ChatGPT is an impressive public presentation of A.I., but very much in it's infancy. There are, however, far more sophisticated A.I. programs running in labs and by the military currently and may already be running on quantum computers. It is obviously accelerating forward and it is uncertain when the technological singularity will be reached, but most in the industry are convinced that it will be reached.
Already, our laws and protocols for handling A.I. are lagging severely behind the technology. Like the issues with nuclear technology, the laws and protocols must become internationally and consistently applied, with equal consequences for those who breach the laws.
