It's both. Utopia and Dystopia are both in our cards, depending on how we create AI. “AI is a rare case where I think we need to be proactive in regulation than be reactive.” And again. “I am not normally an advocate of regulation and oversight… I think one should generally err on the side of minimizing those things…but this is a case where you have a very serious danger to the public.” - Elon Musk, the guy running Tesla and XAI and Neuralink, all of which are on top of the AI industry and making sure AI is not going to go wrong.
