Because whenever he tries to pin her down onto a FACTUAL truth, because she's supposed to be a journalist, she pivots to an emotional or a morality-based argument. She wants to say "they're lying, they're greedy, we have to stop them." He keeps asking her, "OK what's the truth then, what's your evidence, where's the proof?" And she pivots to the next bad thing about the AI industry: they use too much electricity from the grid. Oh, they have their own power plants? Actually they make the air smell like methane. Oh they're taking all the jobs, but also there are endless jobs building supercomputers, building power plants, building electrical infrastructure and doing manual data entry because the AGI is a lie...
