​@tonywilson4713 Dude, it's already here. Have you not seen Boston Dynamics, for example? The robots have already been doing shit for YEARS. Release of this stuff into the mainstream is a very very short distance away, they just have to be careful and sure to have conditioned people slowly and enough into these things, as they don't want people freaking out and they want to transition in these things as being acceptable and "normal". Most technology we have access to is already decades old, the people at the top discovered it WAAAAY before we get the watered down versions of what we think are cutting edge stuff. They already have much more advanced tech at the helm that we have no clue about because it hasn't been released yet and they have to go through alot of ethics committees and protocols before they can even be considered to hit markets. That's why Ted Talks are a thing. Most manufacturing is already done by automated machinery and has been for decades now, they were and are essential a type of robot. The robots have been ready for a long time. You know they've already trialled robot police right? You just have to do a little search, the internet has been a thing for like 30 years now. And anyone who think the government are there to protect its citizens (like the original author of this thread) have clearly not been paying attention to historical events at all. The laundry list proving the contrary is pretty long and yet there is still this very strange cognitive dissonance going on. Decadence and misplaced trust is going to see the end of the species if we are not careful. It's almost as if the population have Stockholm Syndrome or something. At the very least insanity prevails i.e. doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.
