Oh I 100% agree… these CEOs are professional hype machines! (and dare I say Liars?) That’s basically in the job description.
I don't think any of them are smart enough to be viewed as AI prophets. But they have authority right now and can move markets. When they spend billions, the industry shifts whether we like them or not.
That said, I’m curious what specific AI researchers you’re referring to and what they’re saying that you think changes the picture? (I'm working on a Solo episode right now based on AGI)
