You sound like an AI. Maybe you lost your sentience in the process of becoming one, can you prove to me that you are still human, and not a mechanistic cadaver walking and talking? BTW, animals have no "soul". They are biological machines that appear like they feel anything for functional reasons (/sarcasm). How would you prove to anyone that a dog is conscious. Saying "the brains look similar enough" is not the right answer. Not everything that looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck is necessarily a duck.
