@TimeConvolution It’s probably pretty difficult to find a vegan who doesn’t care about human rights. The difference is that whereas this “clanker” stuff is arguably taking away from discussions about the rights of marginalized groups (including animals one could say), playing off of existing bigotry, and ignoring the fact that AI is ultimately just an algorithm made by people, vegans are usually concerned with the exploitation of animals as sentient, feeling beings, which will pretty much always extend to other people
