The difference is one artist improving from another probably isn't going to make people lose jobs on a mass scale anytime soon. People want faster. People want better. They're not GOING to pay for real artists if they can have a cheap copy. AI art isn't going to be used respectfully, it's an inevitable replacement for people who genuinely worked for what they have, and are now going to lose.
