Don't conflate the normal use of language with taking that language at face value. It's fine to say "at the foot of the mountain" as long as you don't believe the mountain can walk around on that foot. It's fine to say "atoms want to fill all their electron orbits", but weird if you think atoms have the corresponding psychological state. An LLM is nothing like a human, but it's fine to talk about it in anthropomorphic language as long as you know the difference.
