When the internet came about, people thought it was a fad. Sure financially, there was a bubble, but was it really? No, because internet stayed, we're using it right now. That's how AI is, you and everyone else have been looking at AI from a financial standpoint, not what's happening in reality, AI will NEVER go away, financially it is a bubble right now. But who cares? 5 years, 10 years, AI will have just improved and by then so drastically that we can't distinguish between reality and a simulation.
AI is here to stay, like the radio, cars, TV, internet... only difference between everything else that came before AI and AI is that AI is here to replace humanity, forget about jobs. We are doomed as a sentient living being.
