@andyjackson3414 There's enormous amounts of copyrighted material that the ai companies have used to train their models without any consent of the copyright holders. The whole thing is a legal nightmare and furthermore the supreme court ruled due to this dynamic that ai generated images will not be protected by copyright. There's been a number of legal cases already between the original owner of images used in the ai and the ai generated images that have spoofed their work and the original image owners have been winning these battles in court.
