Uh, that take is interesting! As if AI art had an identity disorder. It can not decide what it really is, who really did it. The original creator was eviscerated, torn to shreds and now his energy has to bow to a new master. But does the art, the mentioned energy really WANT to follow the input of this master? Maybe this chimera of an idea does NOT want to be born? I think an artist, when having spent thousands of hours, developed a sesitivity for when an idea will pan out or not. Then only follows a path when It will lead somewhere. The problem with AI is that "walking the way" was takenout of the equation. Meaning it will not take the person 50 hours to see the result. Thus ANY idea, any combination of shapes or colors can and will be produced. It is like as if a beginner starts out with maxed out skill but does not know how to use it. When you do a logo for a company you do not ask the cleaning lady or the random guy in the corner office for their oppinion. You have to rely on an instinct WHICH HAS TO BE DEVELOPED. This instinct is lacking in the AI AND many people using it. Sorry pal (the guy with the ghibli video), you may be a very good investment banker. But you lack artistic instinct.
