I think people are not so much against the technology as they are about the reasons for the purpose of Autonomous vehicles which isn't being openly discussed by people pushing for it. The real purpose is to eliminate jobs and put people out of work. It's not about "safety" it's about "money" and they need to cut the bullshit and address what the landscape is going to look like when millions of service jobs are cut and handed off to robots.
