I would say the whole "is AI art art" is useless through category arguments not really seeming to matter outside of creating a pretense of illegitimacy based solely on definitions rather than experience. Art is in the mind, meaning gets derived as you interpret what you see before you, though it can certainly be more useful to interact with art created by people with intent rather than a blob leaning towards things most created by the time of 2021, and it can certainly help your own development to actually work something through rather than skipping to the benefit of acquiring the thing you wanted.
