Incorrect. There have been a relatively small number of fatal collisions associated with automation. These are because a large number of miles are involved and cars are dangerous. The relevant statistic is miles per collision. By that statistic, automation is generally safer than human drivers. You remind me of anti-vaxxers quoting VAERS data.
