Why not think the other way around? Meaning, if AI can increase productivity, then instead of reducing the number of developers, why not just keep them, or increase the number of devs to be ahead of competition? If X feature was scheduled to be completed in 1 year without AI, then why not complete X feature in the next month and kill your competition?
