@SiloTV The generation is not stealing. Just profiting of stealing. A few questions: Do you think we should pay the AI? Do you think the AI thould have human rights? Otherwise there is probably a difference in the process how they work. Although the learning process of AI is modelled after the human learning process, in the case of "art" its quite different from how a human learns it. It does not know anything it makes. It approximates the corrilation between chars and pixels. (I study this stuff btw. Its very impressive.) But it does not first learn basic shapes. Its starts approximating everything at the same time. If it would work like you said, probably alot less people would have a problem with that. A technology that analyses actually how its drawn and basically draws for itself would indeed be quite impressive. But we dont have that technology yet. And this does not invalidate the claim unless you give the machine person rights. A person is taking the artworks without permission and feeding them into a machine directlly affecting the original market.
