@jtk1996 I used those adjectives because they are accurate. On neural nets, no-one is even close to Geoff in terms of foresight, achievement and, as VP at Google, inside information. A lot of people are projecting things and jumping to random conclusions about him. But he is a pretty straightforward person. No-one expected these levels of performance from LLMs. Geoff is drawing the logical conclusions from what he has seen literally 2 months ago, behind closed doors, and using his reputation to sound the alarm.
