@teacup1322 I don't think the whole point of art is the labor (or journey as you call it), though it can be a part of it.
But I think it would be ignorant to claim no ai users or ai artists have a journey of sorts. It is just not as intense as traditional art.
It involves training models, tweaking prompts and touching up in photoshop, among other things. Which is valid, even if it is not as grueling as traditional art.
The commissioner comparison is fair only up to a point. But some people seem to go overboard in dismissing AI art and its enthusiasts, to the point where photographers are not artists by their logic.
