@user-ur8co1yn5l But why is it pretentious to say you believe in something? That something deeply moves you to the point that it changes your perception of the world? Or that it makes life worth living? To many people, this is how art, music, film and literature makes them feel. These corporations like Stability AI and Midjourney are only the tip of the iceberg, and they want to take it away. To “democratise” it and make artistic ability meaningless. If we don’t fight back for something we believe in now, then there will be no going back. This circle jerk of automated crap factory “art” will carry on ad infinitum
