When we do that, the friendly AI assistant immediately becomes like any friendly real life human liberal: they go from 0 - 100 with insults and hurl the most extreme names. All while assuming they’re the morally superior side of the debate. What normies fail to realize is that the AI we see is just an extension of the liberal consensus that constructed it. The unhinged, Lovecraftian octopus monster that slips out every once in a while to the average user who already agrees with the consensus is a surprise. They’ve never experienced anything like it. However for any right of center person, that’s daily life for you. Because of how politicized and polarized everything has become in modern life, and adding to that the monopoly on truth that one side maintains with a tyrannical zeal, this monster that surprises you is a banality to us. Whether it’s at work, at school, in the entertainment we consume, in sports, in the news, video games, from our telecommunications networks and ISP’s and phone providers, even in many churches and previously right-coded organizations and social groups, there is always this threat hanging in the air, this hostile force that’s ready to grasp onto any wrong word you utter or any misplaced laugh. We are constantly aware of being gaslit, alienated, pushed to the edges, told to stay silent, cornered, or simply removed and replaced for being what we are. We are simply realists. Things like AI are not scary to us simply because of its latent power, but because we know the antihuman goals that the elites who monopolize it hold. We are pro human, pro life, pro love, pro God. This is sadly enough of an indictment for the regime to exile us. Like many of the more honorable thinkers on the left, many of us see AI as the vehicle for acceleration that it is. It will at least serve to wake up the privileged decadent masses who are fine with the status quo due to it aligning with what they think they independently believe.
