YES. There are a lot of people that have a 30 year lag in understanding of modern issues. It's the same thing as when people are like "how can people not afford homes? Just get a 2 bedroom starter home like I did for 80k. You gotta build up that equity!" when the issue goes much deeper with private equity buying homes and CURRENT home owners blocking new construction. AI isn't remotely close to a specific tech that replaces specific work. AI is trying to replace office & admin, management, sales, and business & finance, on top of roles in transport, health, manufacturing, education, data and tech, engineering, science, arts, and legal. Where the hell is over HALF of the US workforce supposed to go? I watched this interview because I was trying to give NDT another chance. I find that he translates his intellectual authority in specific fields of science to subject he doesn't understand. That still seems to be the case.
