@WideNerdy Ok that response of mine was kinda a throwaway, but if you genuinely have that opinion that is very unique since I've genuinely never seen someone have an opinion like this. Now I'm just curious on how you got to feel this way, since usually the artist is the one portrayed as the one that's struggling. Where'd you get the idea that all artists are miserable? Like I get that there's a sorta inherent connection with emotion, since art is a form of expression therefore yes that could be one of the many forms that could take, but that seems like a rather broad generalization, like "oh yeah lolol now all artists are these miserable evil masterminds who only want the poor normal people to be miserable". Like I'm an artist, as you rather rudely pointed out, but I don't consider myself to be very miserable, I'm actually quite the opposite :3, I don't draw because I have some weird complex where I'm an evil Supervillain who wants to make everyone around him miserable like you say, I draw because I like to draw, and because I find it fun, like many other people do. Moving on from that, what makes you think AI will be this savior from what you call the "evil artists that only want to make everyone miserable"? Like, I would think if you saw a lot of art with negative themes in the world, perhaps instead of taking the option that steals from others hard work, destroys the environment and is completely soulless you could... Idk, maybe pick up a pencil and learn to do it yourself? Make some positive art and put that out in the world, do something constructive instead of complaining and being destructive for a change :D I'm not even very anti AI per se, but like all other things it's a tool that should be used to help artists, not replace them, like it should be used to take care of the tedious stuff that people don't want to do vs eliminating the fun parts of art
